We hate spam, so we fully understand that you would not want us to sell on your details to anyone else. That’s fine – we have no intention of doing so!
We don’t currently run a mailing list, so you won’t hear from us unless you have ordered something from us via another website (eg the Gritstone Cooperative website of which Chiz is a member) ;in which case we will use the data to fulfil orders and reply to any queries. If we get around to sorting out a mailing list in the future, then if at any time you don’t want to receive any more emails from us about what we’re up to, then please hit the unsubscribe link and you’ll be automatically removed from our mailing list.
We do have analytics somewhere on the site, but we’re still living in the stone age, so we are still trying to work out how to use it!
We do provide lists of accomodation, and route information via google maps. If you access any pages with these maps, Google will usually ask you if you wish to share your location with them. This is so you can calculate your distance to such places/or use google for “directions to” such a place. That is part of the plugin we needed to use to show information on maps at all, but it is not neccessary for google to have access to your location just to see the information. Simply reject this in your browser when it asks, if you don’t want to share that info.
