Work to resurface and widen part of the Tissington Trail in the Peak District National Park begins on the 10 November.

The work is taking place near Alsop Station car park (about 5km south of Hartington), with widening works and general repairs being combined into one set of works.

The works are scheduled for completion by 8 January 2017. Some restrictions will be in place during this time, but it should remain passable.
