Spanish Sierra Nevada

Images from the Sierra Nevada,Alpujarras and Lanjaron areas of Andalucia in Spain. I first went out to this area as a high-level trekking place to acclimatise for a big peak in Ladakh in 2009 (it was the only place that was above 3000m,a short-haul flight away and was possible to walk at altitude without the need for a mate to hold the other end of the string across glaciers (as there aren’t any!)). But I liked it so much I keep returning,and am now running photography courses and workshops out there –see here for more information!
