Outdoor Photography Courses and Holidays

Awesome sunset over the Alpujarras from the Elorietta HutEver wondered how to make the camera work for you rather than just leaving it on the “Auto” or “program” mode and hoping for the best?

Or perhaps you know how to control the camera (rather than it controlling you!) and have a good eye for composition already, but time is the issue. You know – you’re away with friends or family, you see a fantastic shot, but the light’s not quite right, or you need time to work out the best composition to do the subject justice, but the others don’t want to wait. Dare I say it, they’re beginning to whinge along the lines of “You’re not still faffing with that camera are you?”!

Old whitewashed millwheel in Trevelez, Andalucia, SpainIf either of these ring a bell with you, then perhaps some time spent in the legendary location of Andalucia – the pretty whitewashed villages along the slopes of the original (Spanish) Sierra Nevada, the wilderness of the high mountains, or the rolling landscapes of the gentler Alpujarras could be just the answer.

Awesome cloud formations looking north from Mulhacen summitI’m an award-winning photographer, friendly and approachable with lots of ideas on how to get the best out of your photography, and I’ve joined forces with the leading trekking company in the region to lead photographic groups there. It’s only a short-haul flight away with easy access via budget airlines, and (just as importantly!) it’s a very affordable location, so what are you waiting for?!
