2010 Calendar

Front and back cover of my forthcoming 2010 calendar. It’s a Landscape calendar, not a purely Derbyshire calendar (as one or two folks I’ve shown the draft to misunderstood!)

Although I live in Derbyshire, and enjoy the landscapes of Derbyshire (which are so much more than “just” the Peak District), I’m not “just” a Derbyshire photographer, and refuse to be pigeonholed as such!!

Having said that, it is predominantly Derbyshire as I know a number of my customers are looking for a reasonable number of images from places they can recognise – so 9 out of 13 images (the front cover’s a bonus image!) are from Derbyshire, the rest are from Spanish Sierra Nevada (an awesome location), Australia and India.

At A4-size, it’s much larger than previous year’s table top (CD case) offerings, so hopefully will give my images the space to show them off to better effect, and I’m getting it printed commercially as I’ve now reached the point where my own high-end giclee printer is not cost-effective for this type of work! Scary changes – but looking really worth the extra effort and the cost isn’t much different!

It’s £9 from several outlets in Derbyshire – Little Eaton newsagents, the Little Gallery in Belper, 4 Seasons Outdoor Gear shop in Belper and Derby Museums and Art Gallery Shop.
